About Me

The problem with specialists is that they only know their own specialities, their own "slice". They do not get the whole picture. I see the whole child!

I have been tutoring, consulting and providing learning assessments successfully for more than two decades. I am a member of the International Dyslexia Association, hold an M.F.A. degree from Rutgers University and have studied education at Hunter College and NYU.

I have been working with children, teens, and young adults who have learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and other special needs with great results. The insights provided are partially due to the fact that I am Dyslexic myself. Sometimes it takes someone who actually has had learning issues and went on to do well to be able to sucessfully help your child achieve better school results and reacher their goals.

My programs are individually designed for what works best for the particular needs of each student. I have consistently been able to help the children I have tutored, and have also helped their parents in dealing with the school systems. In the past, I have won many cases involving advocacy, mediation or arbitration.

The book that I published, Recovering Autism, ADHD, and Special Needs, is a compilation of knowledge and solutions garnered from years of experience working with children on a one to one basis.
